Goldstein Law Group is fortunate to have a strong team of fraud defense attorneys, each with their own individual set of skills and expertise. We are truly lucky to have three exceptional senior associates – Andrea, Jeff and Zasha. Some of you may have had the privilege of collaborating with them, but did you really get to know who they are? We put our team to the test and asked them some tough questions. In this article we uncover the real people behind the litigators.

Andrea Mack
I find fraud litigation to be…fascinating. The rampant fraud that can be found among certain networks of medical providers never ceases to amaze me.
The most rewarding part of my job is…knowing my firm helped make a dent in the fraud that affects the community.
The mobile app I can’t live without is…Google maps. I may know my way around a courtroom, but anywhere else, I would quite literally be lost without Google maps.
My favorite place to get away from its all is…Napa Valley, California. I visit Napa every year because it has the best food and wine in the country.
When I’m not in the office or in court you can find me…teasing my New England-born and raised husband about Tom Brady’s deflated footballs.
If I could speak with Chief Justice Roberts, I’d ask him…for Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s number!

Jeff Baer
I find fraud litigation to be…very sophisticated. I’m intrigued by the organization and collaboration of fraud rings. It’s an interesting puzzle for us to solve.
I am most energized by…my sons, Spencer and Zach. It amazes me that they’re into the same toys and movies (Star Wars, Transformers, Marvel super heroes, Ninja Turtles, etc.) that I was as a young boy.
The mobile app I can’t live without is…CBS Fantasy Football – because I’m the defending, four-time champ of the league I co-founded!
The most unusual or unique item you’ll find on my desk or in my office is…a miniature replica of the original Orange Bowl Stadium. My father had season tickets and we attended every game during UM’s 58-game home winning streak. I also was there for the ’87, ’91, ’94 and 2001 National Championship games – the Canes went 3-1 under my watch!
The most rewarding part of my job is…working with amazing people – from the partners to the mail room. They make every day rewarding.

Zasha Rodriguez
I find fraud litigation to be…the perfect mixture of civil litigation and criminal law. I spent five years as a public defender and find that civil fraud generates the excitement of criminal law for me, but with the complexity of civil litigation.
I am most energized by…black coffee – iced, of course – as well as when witnesses confess that they committed fraud.
My favorite food…and why? That would be…pizza – because you can eat it cold the next day and it’s always just as delicious!
The most rewarding part of my job is…mentoring new associates or helping organize charity and firm-bonding events.
When I’m not at the office or in court, you can find me…volunteering with Honor Flight and StrongLikeJJ, or just spending time with family and friends.
The one thing that keeps me up at night is…running through every detail of my arguments and questions before a big deposition, to ensure my client get the best possible representation.
Three very different personalities…but all accomplished attorneys who are strong litigators against insurance fraud.
